What treatments did you undergo during your journey? Chemotherapy, Surgery, and Radiation

What were your signs/symptoms leading up to your diagnosis? Lump in breast while pregnant.

How did cancer alter your lifestyle? I was pregnant when I found out so it was emotionally stressful.

What kept/keeps you going? My baby wanted to meet her and watch her grow.

What makes your story unique or helpful to others? My story is a little different being that I was diagnosed while pregnant and did all treatment while pregnant then radiation after pregnancy.

Any advice for those coming behind you? Always have faith and believe that everything happens for a reason even if you may not see that reason at the moment.

Do you have a funny cancer story? One time, baby girl kicked so hard during treatment, the nurse jumped and said, “Was that you or the baby?” I said, “That’s her letting you know she’s fighting too.”

Favorite quote, scripture or song? Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Product or service that changed your life? Being able to do chemo during pregnancy while others suggest I have an abortion.
